The NorCal Performance Ballet Company is ISDA's pre-professional ballet program. Curriculum includes rigorous ballet training with supplemental classes in stretch and conditioning, choreography, as well as technical and performance skills, all essential to an overall comprehensive dance education. Technique is geared towards pre-professional preparation, including transitional opportunities at the high school level to move into the professional realm of dance. The ideal training program for the dancer looking to pursue dance through college scholarship applications and dance teams, or a future professional career in ballet and beyond.

Dancers gain the opportunity to perform in two full-length ballet productions every year through ISDA; our annual holiday performance of The Nutcracker, as well as our all-original ballet in June. NCPB students earn more prominent roles in these productions, and participate in extra weekly rehearsals in preparation.

Dancers wishing to be a member of the NCPB are required to audition for correct level placement. Auditions are held once a year in August at In Sync Dance of Auburn.
