Kids Helping Kids Foundation

     In Sync Dance of Auburn is proud to be considered one of the finest Instructional dance studios in the greater Placer County area.  Featuring all dance disciplines, for all ages. But with a little twist.  Our Company Dance group, which consists currently of approximately 65 young performers and is the most sought after entertainment Dance Company in our region, make their way throughout the year performing in, and around community functions surrounding the Auburn area.  Some time ago, we realized the potential GOOD which might be realized by a group of this size and reputation.  Also realizing there was no other group focused on the same objectives and goals, in our area, we all went to work!!!

     The Kids Helping Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to helping children and families in need, right here in our hometown was born.  The group consists of the kids and their parents who participate in our Company Dance group. Some 200 strong, with plenty of room for more who can appreciate what it is we do, in and for our community, and what we stand for.  The kids and their parents are diligent in their duties of both raising awareness of the Arts in our region, while also continuously researching funding opportunities to help us with our most important cause.  The children of the greater Auburn area. And with literally almost no overhead or administrative expenses, due to all our group’s membership volunteering their time and resources, most all funding secured by the Foundation is able to go right back into our community.

     A secondary, and just as rewarding goal is being achieved through our efforts…. We are seeing in “our” own children, the performing Company involved with Kids Helping Kids, growth and development in ways we as parents never fathomed, and likely never wouldn’t have seen achieved through other activities available to youth in our area. Our kids are becoming, what we believe will be better adults.  Through their charitable efforts, and hands on learning experiences and involvement with this group, we feel confident more good than bad will come out of the young people we turn loose on society in the near future.
